First, Live Free

Passivity tanks a story…and a life.

Take any great story. Until the protagonist chooses to risk, nothing happens.  As storytellers, we know this. Yet many are content to write about it without living it.

It never works.

If you want to write about adventure and risk, spend more time in risky situations than in a chair staring at a screen. If you want to write about romance, first demonstrate you can sustain a loving relationship before fantasizing about it.

You can’t write a better story than you’re living. So start there.

First, live free with God. Then, create in freedom.
