All Great Creations Have This

In Genesis 1, we see the Creator in his glory. So much happens in these first six movements of creation. The first thing to note is that God didn’t create alone.
Creation was accomplished by a creative fellowship—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Trinity. Together.
God wasn’t on a solo creative mission then—nor is he now. Creation was a generous cooperative fellowship of wild creativity. As it continues to be.
The best creativity is always done in collaboration—not isolation. And we, as his sons and daughters, are invited to co-create with him in this moment.
The enemy wants us to forget our true identity. His primary strategy is to isolate us from God…and each other. The enemy does this by clouding our view of reality. Though God and others remain beside and around us, we begin to lose sight of them. We believe it is all up to us while wondering why we feel all alone. It’s a toxic cycle.
But we are not alone. God is with us. Other kindred spirits are on the journey with us. We need relationship with God, and we need relationship with others. Settling for either—or neither—is less than what we were created for. That’s why Scripture tells us loving God and loving others are the highest priorities of our lives (Mark 12:29).
Isolation is a Glitch Maker. Here’s your Glitch Breaker.
You can get stuck in the black hole of self-reliance. Though you may feel alone, you’re not. What most clears the fog is a steadfast decision to stay in fellowship with God and others. Even when—especially when—you don’t feel like it. We weren’t made to create alone. Take time now to invite God and others into your dreams, goals, and projects. It may feel risky. But it’s far riskier to go it alone.
