Art on the Altar

Your creativity has the potential to become an idol if you look to it for validation or cling to it as your primary identity.

What’s the best way to avoid this trap? Put your art on the altar.

By that, I mean give it to God as an offering. All of it. Freely. Right now.

Let go of all outcomes. All external validation. All striving.

When you release it fully to God, that releases its hold on you. You no longer own it…and it no longer owns you.
