Breathe Easy

-An exclusive excerpt from Allen’s new book-

We don’t tend to question our breathing. We intuitively know everyone alive is breathing—and accept it as part of our design.

If only we saw our creativity in the same way. Unlike breathing, we regularly question our creativity. We often doubt if it is part of our design, though how could it not be? We have the Creator’s DNA within us.

We breathe because God has filled us with his breath of life.

We create because God has filled us with his creativity.

So why are we all breathing but few are creating?

There is a Creativity Glitch.

Our original design has been compromised when it comes to our creativity.

If something were to block our airway, we would do whatever was necessary to restore our breathing. Our life would depend on it. But when something blocks our creativity, we assume it’s just us—or accept the limitations and disruptions as inevitable. The result is tragic.

We keep breathing, but stop creating.

It is time to restore what has been compromised, neglected, or shut down. God created us to create with him. Whether you feel stuck, believe you aren’t creative, have lost your groove, or don’t know how to create with God, this book will prove a rescue.

You’ll notice every chapter is only one page long. That’s so you can take this journey a step at a time. Each chapter builds on the prior one—so you’ll want to read them in order. Take your time. The goal isn’t to get somewhere fast but to become more fully you along the way. To breathe easy and create more.

It is time to resist the glitch and reawaken your creativity!
