How to Stay Creative

Each week, I write the five daily readings for the next week. And every time, before I begin, I get hit with a wave of dread that I have nothing to say, that no one will read it, and that I should just punt for the week. Recycle past readings and call it good. 

But I know better.  

The only way to defeat the lie is to actively defy it. To show up, certain that God will do the same.  

And he always does. My success rate with this approach has been 100%. I may begin the process doubting. But I leave with boundless anticipation for you to read what God and I did together.  

There’s such power in simply showing up and expecting God to do the same.  

He will. And then the two of you get to create something beautiful together.
