No Neutral Ground

"There is no neutral ground in the universe. Every square inch, every split second is claimed by God, and counterclaimed by Satan." - C.S. Lewis 

This holds true for our art as well. There’s no such thing as neutral creativity.  

Good people bring good things out of the good they stored in their hearts. But evil people bring evil things out of the evil they stored in their hearts. People speak the things that are in their hearts. (Luke 6:45 NCV) 

Notice there are only two options. Good and evil people. There is no neutral person. Or neutral creation.  

What’s created is an outflowing of an artist’s life...and heart. May our creations carry an eternal spark that changes the atmosphere for good.
