Paranoia Will Destroy You

When we have an original idea, we often hesitate to share it until we can make it first. After all, what if someone steals it and all our efforts are lost?
That might be true for generic widgets, but not for God-given creativity. The fear reflects a scarcity mindset that’s diametrically opposed to this kingdom principle:
Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. (2 Corinthians 9:6 MSG)
Once you find your unique expression of beauty, life, and hope, no one can steal it. No one else has lived your life, has your voice, or engages with God quite like you. So they can’t create like you. If they try, it’s a pale imitation that lacks your DNA.
The only ones who should worry about their ideas and creativity being stolen are those whose works are derived from groupthink and formula. Those offerings are predictable and forgettable. Plus, AI will soon be able to duplicate them faster and better than humans. But what is created with God is theft-proof. Because neither humans nor machines are a match for what you and the Creator make together.
As believers, we have the mind of Christ. And the mind of Christ cannot be hacked by human technology. Nor will AI, no matter how advanced it becomes, possess this ultimate upgrade.
But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets...we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:10,16 NLT)
May we say no to knowledge without intimacy, productivity without presence, efficiency without expectancy, and to the artificial rather than the real. Release the fear of scarcity and embrace God’s promise of abundance. Because paranoia will destroy you.
