Stay Curious or Calcify

Whenever we start to think we have all the answers and are generally the smartest person in the room, we leave little opportunity to learn, grow, or be surprised—from God or others.

Along the way, we forget how to listen. We no longer learn. All we can do is repeat what’s worked before…because we have nothing new to say or offer.

It’s a cycle that eventually causes our creativity to calcify.

That’s why it’s essential to stay curious, listen more than talk, and ask questions.

When it comes to our creativity, a little humility always goes further than a lot of hot air.
