The Only True Perspective

The One who created you and gave you the desire to create has the only true perspective on your creativity. He alone knows all you’ve gone through and overcome to be at this point.

In a world full of opinions, be sure you give God the first and last word on your art. Every other opinion offers a limited, subjective view. Sometimes helpful but always incomplete.

Creating something new is always a hard, risky, vulnerable endeavor. But we often make it harder than it has to be. Rather than wait for others to validate (or invalidate) your art, aim higher.

Ask God what He thinks of your gifting. Then don’t try to answer for him. Listen to what he says and rest in his interpretation. There is no truer or more meaningful validation than that.

This reading was crafted to encourage your pursuit of story and creativity with God. Your donation makes this crowd-funded initiative possible. You can support it via PAYPAL (or by check to Allen Arnold at PO Box 62841, Colorado Springs, CO 80962).
