At times we all get stuck. Which is a real problem for creatives. Because our art can’t take others somewhere new as long as we’re stuck in the status quo.
When a project isn’t coming together, here are three simple ways to get unstuck:
Live more before trying to create more.
Reject the lie that you have to be an expert. No artist ever feels 100% qualified or ready.
Stop approaching creativity as if it’s all up to you when God offers his presence.
God is really good at setting us free. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. (Galatians 5:1 NIV)
He’s ready to do so right now…if we’ll invite him into our stuck places.
