Wide-Eyed Travelers Wanted

You may have a beautiful voice but little interest in singing. You may be an excellent accountant, but numbers bore you. You might make furniture, yet dream not of couches…but coaching.

The goal isn’t to stick with what comes easy or even brings in the most money. At least not when it comes to your creativity.

Instead, consider the activities and things that make your heart come alive. What you’d love to do even if you didn’t get paid. Maybe you’re drawn to the guitar but have never taken a lesson and can’t read music. That’s okay. No one starts as an expert. Begin as a wide-eyed traveler. Allow your heart to beat faster with an awe of what awaits.

God infused you with a unique talent, perhaps several. His invitation is to pursue that with him. Maybe it’s something you’ll never make a living from. Maybe it will eventually become a steady source of revenue. Either way, don’t you want to spend time with him creating what he created you to do?

Be a wide-eyed traveler as you explore that with God. Then, create from that space.

This reading was crafted to encourage your pursuit of story and creativity with God. Your donation makes this crowd-funded initiative possible. You can support it via PAYPAL (or by check to Allen Arnold at PO Box 62841, Colorado Springs, CO 80962).
