Your Art’s Relational Thread

Have you ever considered the relational thread of your art? If not, I think you’ll love this way to perceive and pursue your creativity.

It doesn’t begin with you and a canvas, screen, stage, or microphone. It starts with you and God. The reason you love to create is because God created you that way. Not so you’d pursue it alone…but with him as Creator and Father. The life you have with God while creating will determine the life of your art.

But the relational thread doesn’t stop there.

It then becomes relational between artist and receiver. Even if you never meet the consumer, the connection is more than simply transactional. You are inviting those with similar interests or questions to join you on a journey of discovery with you that plays out through your creations.

Finally, there is a relational aspect that occurs between the receiver and God. That’s because what was made with God carries an eternal spark that transcends you. Like a beacon, the painting, story, or song is infused with a glimmer of trueness, beauty, hope, and light. One that invites end users to see God and themselves in new ways.

It’s a beautiful process with relationships at the epicenter of every stage. With God. With you. With others. God wouldn't have it any other way.
