How You Lose Your Voice
The world demands we align with whatever agenda the entertainment, business, educational, and political leaders hold up as important. We’re told that to veer from that script is to risk having our voices silenced.
But actually, just the opposite is true. Our voices become stronger once we escape the echo chamber of popular opinion and begin to speak words with an eternal spark.
This is the moment where it counts. Everyone from Adam forward was born for a specific time in history…including us. From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. (Acts 17:26 NIV)
Within this time we've been given, we have the choice whether to use our voices for good or go silent. Esther revealed the power of one voice to change the destiny of a nation. Adam, on the other hand, went silent during the temptation in Eden. After that, though he lived 930 years, he seems to have lost his voice and his place in the larger story.
Now is the time to use your voice for good. Through who you are, what you do…and what you say.
