Rather than seek popularity, seek to make a difference.
Fame isn’t necessarily bad. But craving it is. A good test to see where your heart is on this matter is to ask God for hiddenness. He doesn’t need to make you famous to work through you.
Hiddenness, on the other hand, keeps us from getting in the way as we point people to the Way.
And isn’t that really the goal?
