Resolution Fatigue
We’re just halfway through the first month of 2026. And already, our resolutions are beginning to show signs of failure. Even if we’re faithfully keeping them, they are proving incapable of filling our hopes, longings, and empty places.
Now’s a good time to redirect all of your hopes and dreams for this still-new year to God.
Rather than try to hold to your commitments, ask God what he has for you this year—specifically in terms of your creativity. Where is he working in your story? Yes, in the one you’re living. But also in the words and worlds you are creating.
God is the only safe place to entrust these desires. And doing so is the only way to stay whole and hopeful for all this year holds—for your art and your heart.
