Story 1 Students

The worldview of young adults is under assault in unprecedented ways. Practically every aspect of social media, entertainment, and even education is infused with incessant indoctrination.  

Without a way to interpret what’s really going on and why, the untrue and unreal begin, over time, to feel normal. Yet it isn’t normal. Or even new. The roots of this counterfeit story go all the way back to Eden. 

As a parent, it can feel like there’s no way to stop the cultural tsunami coming at our kids. But with God, there’s always a way. Because when God and chaos collide, chaos always loses. 

Here are two simple ways you can help the high school and older children in your world. 

First, give them a copy of The Eden Option to read this summer. Share how it provides a roadmap for understanding why the story the world is pushing feels so random and empty (because it is) and how to return to the story God created them for…Story 1! 

Second, consider connecting me with a Christian high school or university leader you know in the hopes that they would invite me to share Story 1 concepts with faculty, students, and parents. I’m seeing God open these doors now…and sense more opportunities await. 

In this Story 2 world, let’s do all possible to develop Story 1 students.
