Who Supported Your Creativity?

Today’s a great day to remember those who have supported your creative efforts over the years. Perhaps it was the well-timed words of a parent, teacher, or coach when you were ready to give up. Or that moment you experienced the work of an artist at the top of their game—and immediately knew what you were born to do. 

Take time to remember their impact on you today. Thank God for them. But don’t stop there. If they’re still alive, reach out and personally express your gratitude to them—ideally through a call or handwritten letter.

One last thing. Don’t just be grateful for those in your past. Become that person today for others through your words, your works, and, when possible, tangible support.
