Your creativity has the potential to become an idol if you look to it for validation or cling to it as your primary identity.  

The best books do the unexpected. 

Keep creating what brings you joy.  

As long as a situation looks impossible, it’s a sign we’re not yet seeing it as God does.  

We say, “Show me the way Then I’ll come.”

The world gets more off-kilter every day. If we ever wanted to see what life would be like when most people turn away from God, here it is. 

Why are so many books, songs, movies, and shows today so similar?  

It’s time to stop spending your time trying to be like someone else. You aren’t.  

The power of your art begins before you pick up the pen or brush or instrument.

Most art is like a mirror. It reflects back the image of the artist, revealing how they see the world, God, and themselves. 

But art with an eternal spark does more. 

Your primary identity is a son or daughter of God.

God offers you life-giving manna for each day—but ultimately you choose what to fill yourself with.

In my recent post “Invite C.S. Lewis Over”, I shared how we can actually spend time today with this great thinker…simply by making time to read his books. So I regularly invite C.S. Lewis into my home through buying and reading his works. 

Discovered truth is greater than delivered truth. 

Imagine having C.S. Lewis as a guest at your home. The fireplace is crackling with logs, there are no distractions, and plenty of time to ponder issue of life, faith, and story. 

Popularity and Substance aren't the same.

Popular isn't the same as Original.
